1.1.Jeff Danner from the Grand Central District Association (GCDA) spoke at length to reasons St. Pete

Pride’s festival should not relocate. Points mentioned were neighborhood feeling, and a sense of ownership. Eric Skains and Scion Provenzano thanked the GCBD for attending and pointed out that St. Pete Pride is not abandoning the GCBD but would like to include them on a new Friday evening event as a prelude to St. Pete Pride with a focus on restaurants, bars, and other business along Central Ave. It was also noted that with possible future relocation, St. Pete Pride has the potential to save up to $20,000. This move is also driven by a survey completed independent of St. Pete Pride in 2014.
