2019 Media Credentials

Please complete the application below for the 2019 St Pete Pride Celebration and Parade.

St Pete Pride will prioritize the provision of media credentials to Media Professionals who can prove an active assignment. St Pete Pride defines “Media Professionals” as journalists, photographers, editors, or producers who have a verified and specific editorial assignment to cover the Parade and/or Celebration for a recognized media outlet (print, online, TV, radio) that generates original content about St Pete Pride, its events, or its participants.

Bloggers, freelance journalists, and independent photographers must authenticate their application by providing links to their blogs, portfolios, or previous published work. Credentials for bloggers and freelancers are limited and will be evaluated carefully.

Photographers wishing to cover the Parade will have limited access to the Route, for safety and logistical reasons. Information about Parade Route permissions will be supplied upon provision of credentials. Media credential badges are to be worn at all times on the Parade Route.

Access to the Celebration Site is free, and all who enter regardless of credential status may be subject to a security screening before entering. Information about restrictions on what can be brought into the Celebration Site is published on each event page on the St Pete Pride website. Media credential badges are to be worn at all times while performing duties related to your coverage.

Please note that completion of this application is only a request. St Pete Pride reserves the right to approve or deny credentialing. St Pete Pride reserves the right to rescind media credentials at any time. The decision is final and cannot be appealed.

By submitting this application, you are acknowledging that you agree to the terms and conditions outlined above, and will read and understand the requirements and restrictions surrounding St Pete Pride Media Credentials.

Please complete one application for your outlet. The application below asks for a primary applicant. If more credentials are requested, a section is provided for you to include additional names. A member of our team will follow up on your request.

Unless otherwise coordinated, it is the responsibility of the Primary Applicant to collect St Pete Pride Media Credentials from designated areas. The first distribution of Media Credentials will be at the St Pete Pride Kick-Off Party at the Sirata Beach Resort. The next time will be at the Stonewall Reception at the Museum of Fine Arts.
